Shipments Report

Where to locate the shipment report, how it’s structured, what information it includes, and how to filter and export the data.

The Shipments Report provides a detailed overview of every shipment processed within ShipTop. It is a valuable reporting tool for reviewing shipping activity, tracking costs, auditing shipments, and exporting shipping data.

You can use this report to view shipments within a specific date range and filter the results by warehouse, carrier, store, shipping status, and more. The report also includes important shipment details such as tracking numbers, shipping costs, package dimensions, and the shipping box used.


Accessing the Shipments Report

  1. Navigate to Reports.

  2. Select Shipments.


Available Filters

Use the filters at the top of the page to narrow your results, including:

  • Date Range

  • Warehouse

  • Store

  • Carrier

  • Shipping Method

  • Shipping Label Status

  • Tracking Number

  • Order Number

  • Destination Country

  • Destination State or Province

Applying filters allows you to generate reports for specific warehouses, carriers, or time periods.


Information Available

The Shipments Report contains a variety of useful shipping data, including:

  • Order Number

  • Shipment Date

  • Tracking Number

  • Carrier

  • Shipping Service

  • Warehouse

  • Customer Name

  • Destination

  • Shipping Box Used

  • Package Weight

  • Package Dimensions

  • Label Cost

  • Shipping Charges

  • Customer Shipping Charges

  • Discounts

  • Profit

  • Number of Items Shipped


Common Uses

The Shipments Report is commonly used for:

  • Reviewing daily shipping activity

  • Auditing shipping charges

  • Verifying tracking numbers

  • Comparing carrier costs

  • Reviewing package sizes and weights

  • Reconciling shipping invoices

  • Analyzing shipping profitability

  • Exporting shipment history for reporting


Exporting the Report

Once you've applied your desired filters, click Export to download the report as a CSV file.

CSV exports can be opened in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for additional analysis and reporting. Large exports include every shipment matching your selected filters, not just the rows displayed on screen.
