Integrate Your Amazon Store (FBM)

Written by ShipTop

ShipTop integrates directly with your Amazon Seller Central account to support Merchant Fulfilled (FBM) orders. Once connected, your Amazon orders, products, and inventory will sync automatically with the Client Portal.

This allows ShipTop to manage fulfillment, update tracking, and keep your inventory aligned across systems.

What Does the Amazon Integration Do?

Once connected, the integration will automatically:

  • Import FBM (Merchant Fulfilled) orders into the Client Portal

  • Sync products and listings from Amazon

  • Update inventory levels back to Amazon

  • Push shipment tracking information after orders are fulfilled

Important:

  • Only FBM orders are imported (not FBA orders)

  • Orders are synced approximately every 30 minutes

  • Inventory updates are pushed regularly to prevent overselling

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

  • An active Amazon Seller Central account

  • FBM (Merchant Fulfilled) enabled

  • Admin access to authorize third-party integrations

How to Connect Your Amazon Store

  1. From your dedicated Client Portal, navigate to: My Account β†’ Stores

  2. Click +Add Store

  3. Select Amazon from the list of integrations

  4. Click Connect

(Note: Use your Brand Name + Amazon Marketplace as the Store Name)

You will be redirected to Amazon:

  1. Log in to your Amazon Seller Central account

  2. Authorize ShipTop to access your account

  3. Once completed, you will be redirected back to the Client Portal

Your Amazon store will now be connected.

What Happens After Connecting?

  • Products will begin syncing automatically

  • Orders will start importing once released by Amazon

  • Inventory updates will sync back to Amazon

Note on Order Timing:
Amazon does not release orders immediately. Orders may remain in a pending status before being available for fulfillment.

If enabled, pending orders can be imported with a Payment Hold for early inventory allocation.

Important Notes

  • ShipTop only imports orders released by Amazon (unless pending import is enabled)

  • Customer address details are not available until Amazon releases the order

  • It may take 1 hour to several days for Amazon to release an order

  • FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) orders are not supported in this integration

Troubleshooting

If your Amazon orders or products are not syncing:

  • Confirm your store is properly connected

  • Ensure you are using FBM (not FBA)

  • Verify orders have been released by Amazon

  • Allow time for the next sync cycle (~30 minutes)

If issues persist, contact ShipTop Support with:
