Before creating an Assembly Work Order, you must first set up the finished product as an Assembly Kit and define the components required to build it.
Step 1 - Access Product Details
Navigate to: Inventory > Products > Product Listing
Select the 'Edit icon' (pencil icon) in the top-right of the details section.
Step 2: Enable Assembly Kit
Within the product details:
Turn on "This is an Assembly SKU used in Work Orders"
Click Update.
Step 3: Add Kit Components
After enabling Assembly Kit:
Navigate to Assembly SKU Components section within the Product Page
Add each component SKU required to build the kit.
Enter the quantity required for each component.
