In order for a product to be live, there must be an active SKU in the system. Each SKU points to the specific product or components required to fulfill the SKU orders.
NOTE:
To create a Product, you must have:
Name of Product
Vendor
SKU
Barcode
Photo/Images of the product
Step 1 - Initiate New Product
Navigate to the Inventory tab - Products page.
Click the "+ Add a product" button in the top right corner of the product listing.
Step 2 - Select Vendor
Locate the "Vendors" list on the right side of the page.
Select the appropriate vendor checkbox for the new product
Step 3 - Enter Basic Details of Product
Input the product "Name" in the designated field.
Enter the "Value" (cost) and "Weight (lb)" for the item.
Step 4 - Assign SKU and Barcode for Product
Enter the unique identifier in the "Sku" field.
Optionally (but recommended), enter a "Barcode"; if left blank, the system will generate one automatically.
Barcodes allow products to be accurately scanned during picking.
If applicable, select appropriate warehouse.
Step 5 - Upload Product Images
Navigate to the "Product Image" section.
Click the "+" button to upload a file from your device.
Step 6 - Save Product
Review all entered information for accuracy.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Product"
