Reshipping an order allows you to send additional items to a customer when an issue occurs, such as lost, damaged, or incorrect shipments.
Reshipments are processed from the original order, ensuring accurate tracking of inventory and order history.
When to Reship an Order
Common use cases include:
Carrier lost or damaged the shipment
Replacement shipment is required
Customer received incorrect or missing items
How Reshipping Works
A new shipment is created from the original order
Inventory is deducted again unless explicitly added back
Order history will log:
Who initiated the reship
Items and quantities reshipped
How to Reship a Single Order

Log in to your Client Portal
Go to Orders β Manage Orders
Step 2: Open the Order
Search for the order
Click the Order Number to open the Order Details page
Step 3: Select Re-Ship
In the Actions section, click Re-Ship
A reshipment window will open
Step 4: Select Items to Reship

Adjust the reship quantity as needed
Add an Operator Hold if changes are required before fulfillment
Step 5: Configure Inventory (If Applicable)
If the original shipment has already left the warehouse, do not add inventory back
If items have not yet left the warehouse, you may choose to add inventory back to stock
This ensures inventory is not deducted twice during reshipment

The order will be updated and a new shipment will be created.

Important Notes
Reshipping will create a new shipment within an existing order
